Penal colony employee got prosecuted for transferring money from prisoner’s SIM card in Tambov region
In the Rasskazov district of the Tambov region, a penal colony employee is accused of exceeding his authority.
Law enforcement officers have initiated a criminal case under part 1 of Art. 285 of the Russian Criminal Code (Abuse of Official Powers) against an employee of the Correctional Camp No. 3 Federal State Institution of the Federal Penitentiary Service Administration of Russia for Tambov Region.
During the investigation, it was found that in May this year the suspect took an illegally used SIM card from a prisoner. The colony officer did not perform the necessary paperwork to confirm SIM card seizure. The following month, he transferred 8,000 rubles available on the SIM card to the bank card of his friend using KIWI payment system, and then, after cashing out the money, spent it on personal needs.
The necessary investigations aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the crime are currently conducted under this criminal case.
"It was a targeted killing": ICR checks powerlifter Drachev's murderer for involvement in other crimes
The investigation into the high-profile murder of the world champion is ongoing. Given the reputation and family ties of Anar Allakhveranov, whose elder brother is serving a sentence for a similar crime on the grounds of extortion, new episodes may emerge in the case. The family of Andrey Drachev and his lawyers are positive – the killing was no accident.
Lawyer of former Governor of the Kirov region Nikita Belykh, Andrey Grokhotov reported that his client needs to be transferred from the pre-trial detention center to the Matrosskaya Tishina hospital due to poor health.
The video shows the second episode of the fight between the powerlifter and Anar Allakhveranov, during which the murderer dealt a series of crushing blows, deliberately bludgeoning the world champion without letting him recover. According to the regional leadership of the National Guard of Russia, that same video denies the inaction allegations filed against soldiers of the National Guard.
Earlier, Deputy Head of the State Duma Rules Committee Mikhail Romanov noted that to avoid a conflict of interest when considering Poklonskaya's declaration, the committee would be headed by its first deputy, but the situation came to an easier resolution.
