One of Fryazino police station chiefs detained in case of assault on Deputy Head
There has been a development in the incident, during which Head of Grand Group of Companies Grigor Agekyan opened fire from a service pistol on Deputy Head of Fryazino Administration Saypudin Tsakaev.
As TASS reports citing the Fryazino City Administration official, November 24, law enforcement officers detained one of the chiefs of the Fryazino MIA Department in the Shchelkovo district on suspicion of taking a bribe from a businessman.
According to him, arrested police officer was involved in the pre-investigation check of the conflict in Fryazino and was familiar with the businessman, who had attacked the Deputy Head of the Administration.
Let us recall that the clash between security staff of Grand Group of Companies Directror Grigor Agekyan, Deputy Head of Fryazino Saypudin Tsakaev and municipality employees took place on November 15, 2016.
Employees of the Department of Municipal Control headed by Tsakaev came to the Sputnik shopping center to monitor the dismantling of illegally installed advertising structures. They belonged to Grand GC, the main profile of which is outdoor advertising.
The head of Grand GC, who arrived at the scene accompanied by bodyguards, began to threaten the officials, and his guards started beating administration officials. The member of the local Public Chamber, whom the media refer to as "the unofficial host of Fryazino", Agekyan himself fired several shots from a firearm, presumably on Tsakaev.
Department of Initial Investigation of the MIA Municipal Department in the Shchelkovo district is checking into the incident. A procedural decision will be taken according to its results. In parallel with this, another check has been initiated at the request of Agekyan – on the possible abuse of authority by the municipality employees.
Searches have been conducted in the offices of Agekyan's company; a combat pistol of foreign production has been seized from him, which allegedly had been presented to the businessman by someone in the leadership of Abkhazia.
According to Interfax, Prosecutor of the Moscow region Aleksey Zakharov has taken personal control of investigation of the assault on the Fryazino Deputy Head.
