According to investigators, the staff of the body extorted money from the business companies, organizing work of blue minibuses.
Officials of the Federal Transportation Inspection Service (Rostransnadzor) could get a bribe in the amount of 1.15 million rubles for not setting obstacles in the work of the companies, organizing work of the blue minibuses, according to Lenta.ru.
According to the investigation, the staff of the body was finding shortcomings in the work of the transport agencies, and then suggested to close eyes to violations for a bribe. According to preliminary information, this refers to the company Moscow Transport.
According to other version, money was received from the firm working at intersubject routes, and has nothing to do with the taxis.
Earlier, after the carried-out searches in the office of the Federal Transportation Inspection Service, a criminal case was initiated under part 6 Art. 290 (Bribe-Taking) and part 5 Art. 291 (Bribe-Giving) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The Head of the Moscow Department of the Agency Igor Surzhik and state inspector of department of motor transportation supervision on the Western, Southwest and Southern administrative districts of Moscow Denis Zuev have already been detained under the case.
The Kremlin was told that they use Telegram for internal communications. However, if it is blocked, the staff of the Presidential Administration is ready to switch to another messenger, said Dmitry Peskov.
Deputy of Izhevsk Zakhar Milostivenko was detained the day before on suspicion of "restricting competition". Sources clarify that the case of the parliamentarian is connected with the criminal case of Alexander Soloviev, accused of multimillion bribes.
