Odintsovo Deputy Head Vyacheslav Kudryavtsev detained for 8.25 million rubles bribe
According to sources, detentions of the official and businessman Mikhail Babel are linked.
Detained red-handed on the eve turned out to be Odintsovo Deputy Head of the Moscow Region Vyacheslav Kudryavtsev.
"Kudryavtsev was arrested last night and placed in the Odintsovo pre-trial detention center, yesterday we were not allowed to him, so, I do not know the details of the criminal case", - RIA Novosti quoted the official's lawyer Ignat Yavorsky.
According to the lawyer, the question on the measure of restraint to Kudryavtsev will be considered by the court today or on 30 November.
As previously the CrimeRussia reported, Kudryavtsev was caught red-handed while taking a bribe of 4.5 million rubles in the settlement Administration. In total, the official, who oversees the land and property relations, demanded 8.25 million rubles from the businessman. For this amount the detainee had to agree the transferal of a land plot and increasing of its area. According to some reports, the official should provide the service to the real estate development company NBM-Stroyservis. Its owner Mikhail Babel has also been arrested the day before on charges of double sale of apartments in the residential complex Terletskiy park. With regard to the entrepreneur a criminal case was opened under part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code (Swindling on an especially large scale). According Moskomstroyinvest, in the residential complex Terletskiy Park on Novogireevskaya street there were signed 300 co-investment agreements and in the register of the damaged individuals there have been already included 72 people.
According to Business Odintsovo, in spring 2015, Babel was accused of apartments' double sale in a residential complex in the Marfino village, the Odintsovo district.
According to the Government of the Moscow region, the number of outstanding contracts in the residential complex Capital Western Gate counted more than 1.4 thousand pieces.
The MID ICR in the Moscow region opened a criminal case under article Bribe-Taking (part 6 of Art. 290 Criminal Code).
Saburova believes that the Russian authorities violated articles 2 and 5 of the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, guaranteeing the right to life, as well as the right to freedom and personal inviolability.
