Novgorod official receives bribe in form of dental service
The head of the Rospotrebnadzor department is arrested.
Head of the Department of Rospotrebnadzor of the Novgorod region Anatoly Rosolovsky is arrested for receiving bribes in the form of dental services and furniture. This is reported by the Investigative Committee for the area.
According to the materials of the case, Rosolovsky received a bribe for the signing of a sanitary and epidemiological certificate relating to the solid waste landfill project. He got a sofa, a chest of drawers and a couch worth more than 70 thousand rubles ($1060).
The second bribe was received in late June. He received dental services worth almost 500 thousand rubles ($7550). In return, the official promised the director of dentistry common patronage and connivance in the service.
Rosolovsky is charged with Bribe-Taking (item (c), part 5 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code). The court arrested him for two months.
