Nikita Belikh, the Governor of the Kirov Region, has been questioned in Lefortovo pre-trial detention facility in the framework of the bribe taking case. This questioning is the first investigatory action performed with the governor since his arrest. According to RBC Information Systems, he was questioned by Major of justice Roman Mukhachev, senior investigator for especially important cases. Mukhachev leads the investigation of this case.
However, after the publication, the attorney for Belikh said that there was no questioning yet.
Earlier, Belikh has already pleaded not guilty and confirmed his willingness to fully cooperate with the investigation.

A spokesperson of the Prosecutor's office said that the ECHR had not studied all the materials of the criminal case, so they were offered not to overturn the verdict, but to send the case for a new review in court.
