Nikandrov's lawyers will address to children's ombudsman
The defense plans to appeal the ban at the meeting of the General with his nine-year-old son.
Nikandrov's lawyers plan to appeal to the children's Ombudsman Anna Kuznetsova because of the ban on a meeting of the detainee with his nine-year-old son, reports RIA Novosti. According to the General's relative, the Federal Security Service allegedly ranked the child to the number of the persons who may hinder the proceedings.
Defenders filed a complaint to the Lefortovo Сourt of Moscow, however, after reviewing the materials of the case, the judge supported the investigating officer of the FSB. As it is written in the resolution on refusal of the meeting, the decision was taken to preserve the secrecy of the investigation. In addition, the judge noted that the child may obtain a psychological trauma because of the isolation’s conditions.
The First Deputy Head of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia in Moscow Denis Nikandrov, the Head of Main Directorate of interdepartmental interaction and own safety of the ICR Mikhail Maksimenko and his Deputy Alexander Lamonov are suspected of taking especially large bribe in the amount of 1 million dollars from the thief in law Shakro Molodoy for termination of the case against his helper Andrey Kochuykov, nicknamed the Italian.
