Nikandrov's lawsuit on protection of honor and dignity is denied

Savelovsky court in Moscow refused to accept the claim of the arrested Deputy Head of the Moscow MID ICR Denis Nikandrov to Life newspaper. In its statement the court pointed out that the lawsuit materials will be tested within the framework of a criminal case.
Earlier General Nikandrov filed a claim for defamation to newspaper Life from pre-trial detention center Lefortovo. The investigator demanded to recognize discrediting his honor the information, which is connected with a thief in law Shakro Molodoy and mentioned in the article in the newspaper. According Nikandrov, the article called him a rogue cop. General did not put forward pecuniary requirements.
Three senior investigators had been detained on suspicion of taking bribes from criminal leader Shakro Molodoy. For this bribe investigators had to break up the case against Shakro.
The complainant stated that by blocking the messenger, Russian authorities make it impossible for people to read Telegram channels that, "under the strict state censorship," have become a source of information and exchange of socio-political views, “one of the few independent and free ones. "
