Nikandrov called the only evidence against him drunk talking of Lamonov and Maksimenko
Accused of receiving a large bribe the first Deputy Head of the ICR MID in Moscow Denis Nikandrov said at the hearing of the court, which handled complaint for his arrest, that the proof of his involvement in bribery is only a recorded conversation of two drunken men.
So Nikandrov called two other ICR officers, detained along with him in this case, - Lamonov and Maksimenko. This conversation was recorded in March.
"The only evidence of my guilt in the case - it is a conversation between two drunken men discussing some matters and said that Nikandrov awares," - RIA Novosti quoted words of the General in the court.
On October 6th the Moscow City Court left in custody until December 19th the first Deputy Head of the Main Investigations Directorate for the City of Moscow of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Denis Nikandrov, the Head of the Main Directorate for Interdepartmental Liaison and Internal Security of the ICR Mikhail Maksimenko and his Deputy Alexander Lamonov, who are suspected of bribe-taking on an especially large scale from the kingpin Shakro Molodoy for the termination of the case against his improvised Andrey Kochuykov, nicknamed the Italian.

Following a request from the West-Baikal Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office, the Kirovsky District Court of Irkutsk has suspended the construction of a water bottling plant in Kultuk township, Slyudyanka district, pending the rectification of defects identified in the course of the inspection. The construction has been put on hold; the court has to make the final decision in two months. In the meantime, public activists and environmentalists are ringing alarm bells. An all-Russia public rally to protect Lake Baikal is scheduled to March 24; its program includes collection of signatures against the plant construction by AquaSib company belonging to Chinese investors. A day after the court decision, a fire occurred on Talovskie swamps in Kultuk – it must be noted that the main claims brought against the project owners pertain to these swamps.
