Naberezhnye Chelny Administration employee arrested for bribe
According to the investigation, the chief specialist of the Department of Architecture, Urban and Housing Development has received 200 thousand rubles ($3,546).
The court of Naberezhnye Chelny has placed chief specialist of the Department of Architecture, Urban and Housing Development Dmitry Dmitriev – suspected of bribe-taking – in a pre-trial detention center.
According to law enforcers, Dmitriev had received 200 thousand rubles from a local businessman, promising to extend the lease of the land on which the businessman had built an industrial facility. Before transferring money to the official, the businessman had turned to the police. Dmitriev was detained in his own office when receiving the money.
