The police detained the head of the Kokoshkino settlement and the former deputy head of the Krasnopahorskoye settlement of the settlement, Konstantin Vagin, on suspicion of receiving a bribe of 2.5 million rubles ($37.300). For the money, Vagin allegedly promised protection to entrepreneurs during the execution of municipal contracts concluded with the administration of the Krasnopahorskoye settlement, the press service of the ICR reports.
According to the investigation, on December 23, 2017, entrepreneur Sergey Khvalin handed Vagin a bribe in the office of the administration building of the settlement of Krasnopahorskoye in the city of Moscow. Law enforcement authorities detained Khvalin. Shortly, the issue of electing a preventive measure will be resolved.
