Moscow Investigative Committee Head summoned to court

Head of the Moscow Investigative Committee Department (ICR MID) Alexander Drymanov received a summons to the court for interrogation as a witness in the case of Mikhail Maksimenko, the former Head of the ICR Bureau of Internal Affairs. This is reported by TASS with reference to a source familiar with the situation. At the same time, the date of the hearing with the participation of Drymanov is not specified.
Last week, representative of the Prosecutor General's Office Boris Loktionov mentioned the name of Acting Head of the ICR MID for Moscow Alexander Drymanov during a hearing over $500.000-worth bribery, which Maksimenko received for mitigating charges to ally of thief in law Shakro Molodoy named Italyanets. Earlier, former Deputy Head of the ICR MID in Moscow Denis Nikandrov testified that he had given a bribe of 10 thousand euros to his immediate superior Drymanov for assistance in appointing him the First Deputy, as well as for general patronage in the service.
Drymanov attributed the words of his former subordinate to "moral and physical fatigue." He said that he could not come to court at his own - he must be called by some of the parties.
Alexander Kravtsov, Oleg Varlamov (Varkamov) and Mikhail Marasigyan (Marsikyan) have been charged with drugs and psychotropic substances trafficking. A citizen of Ukraine, Yuri Tribusyan (Tribasyan) was also detained.
