Moscow City Duma MP’s son purchases $60m-worth mansion and $8.9m-worth apartment
The young man is listed as deputy director of the cognac factory controlled by the Federal Property Management Agency.
Ilya Platonov, the son of Moscow City Duma deputy Vladimir Platonov, bought an apartment on Prechistenskaya Embankment with an area of 372 square meters, the market value of which is 600 million rubles ($8.9m), according to the Anti-Corruption Fund (FBK). The young man works as deputy general director of the Kizlyar Cognac Factory controlled by the Federal Property Management Agency.
FBK also found a house for 4 billion rubles ($60m) in the most expensive village on Rublevka - Mayendorf Gardens. According to the fund, the apartment was first issued for the former mother-in-law, and then it was registered for Platonov on February 7, 2018.
On July 10, the house was transferred to the co-owner of Vnukovo Airport and the Rosavia former director general, Vitaly Vantsev.
The wife of deputy Vladimir Platonov, Nadezhda, was an assistant to the father in 2008 and bought an apartment of 187 sq. m. in the Golden Keys-2 residential complex worth at least 50 million rubles.
