Moscow City Court: FSB did not violate Ulyukaev’s rights during detention
During detention of the former Head of the Ministry of Economic Development standard of the criminal procedure legislation were not violated. Such appeal definition was taken out by the Moscow City Court according to the complaint of Alexey Ulyukaev’s lawyers concerning the legality of his detention by the FSB officers.
Arguments of lawyers, telling that during investigative actions the right of defense was violated are insolvent, it is told in the conclusion of court.
In court’s decision time of conducting interrogations of the former minister at night on November 15 is also specified – first time – “from 06:20 till 06:40” and second – at 11:20 a.m. In the second interrogation minister's lawyers were involved.
To recall, the Minister of Economic Development was caught in flagrante delicto during taking a bribe in the amount of 2 million dollars. Money was transferred to him in response to the requirement to representatives of Rosneft to issue permission to share purchase of Bashneft.
A native of Grozny Lors Khamiev, who has served several years for preparing an attempt on Head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov, has been arrested by court along with another defendant. They have already been charged with the murder of Azerbaijani Garib Orudzhev during the night of February 15.
