Ivanovo region former Vice-Governor wanted
Vitaly Ilyushkin made a candidate for deputies to be elected for 1.5 million rubles ($25.000).
Former Deputy Governor of the Ivanovo region Vitaly Ilyushkin was put on the wanted list on suspicion of receiving a bribe. The investigation believes that in 2016, Ilyushkin received at least 1.5 million rubles ($25.000) from Alexey Korobov for creating advantages when considering the issue of electing a candidate for the post of deputy of the Ivanovo Regional Duma. Korobov eventually went to the Duma from the United Russia party.
The Investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case on bribe-taking on an especially large scale. The former official disappeared from the investigative bodies and was put on the wanted list.
In the framework of the case, the siloviki carried out searches and seizures at the place of residence of Ilyushkin and his wife, the Head of the Lezhnevsky district, Olga Kuzmicheva. In addition, the court seized the suspect's car and snow aerobatics.
In November 2015 Ilyushkin was appointed the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Ivanovo region. At the end of January 2017, the official was fired.
Lawyers of Oleg Korshunov, who is charged with a large fraud in organizing the production of footwear for prisoners, do not see corpus delicti in his case. The prisoners did get their shoes, and the difference in the cost of footwear made from leather and split leather is about 10%.
