Investigators conducted searches in the office of Vice-Mayor of Penza Vladimir Popkov, Life reports. At the same time, the local edition Pervyi Penzensky portal reports that investigators of the ID ICR and FSB are searching the office of Penza Mayor Viktor Kuvaitsev and his deputies.
However, official information was not confirmed by the ICR. The City Administration told that employees are working in the normal course and there is no security forces in the Hall.
Recall, on the eve, the Investigation Committee reported that a criminal case was initiated against the Deputy Head of the Penza Administration. At the same time, the official's name was not called. He is suspected of forgery of documents. According to preliminary version, in June 2016, the Vice Mayor included false information in documents. The official signed a decree on granting a citizen with the land plot in the territory of gardening association worth at least 1.6 million rubles retroactively. At the same time, the Vice-Mayor made the dercee on behalf of the Acting Head of the Penza Administration, having no authority. Local media reported that this official is Vladimir Popkov.
