Investigators accused brother of Dagestani ex-head of involvement in criminal community
Radzhab Abdulatipov, the deputy of the People’s Assembly of the Republic, was charged with bribery and issuing forged documents.
The Investigative Committee indicted Radzhab, the brother of former head of Dagestan Ramazan Abdulatipov, who was the member of the organized criminal community (OCC). According to the investigation, members of the OCC issued disability titles to healthy citizens for bribes. It is reported by the press service of the ICR.
“In the framework of the investigation into the case, Radzhab Abdulatipov was charged with committing a crime under part 2 of Art. 210 of the Criminal Code (Participation in the Criminal Community) on November 7, 2018" the department statement said.
Deputy of the National Assembly of Dagestan Radzhab Abdulatipov was detained on September 26, 2018. The OCC was created in 2013 by former Head of the Main Bureau of Medical and Social Expertise in the Republic of Dagestan of the Ministry of Labor of Russia Magomed Makhachev, who was detained in August 2018. The OCC managed to issue fake documents to 300 residents of Dagestan, as a result of which the Pension Fund lost 24 million rubles, RBC writes.
