Investigating officer of Volgograd police to face trial over bribe
The law enforcement authority helped acquaintances to avoid criminal prosecution for small remuneration.
In Volgograd, ex-head of department of inquiry of policy station No. 4 Marina Evdokimova will appear before court over a bribe.
According to the press-service of the local Directorate of the Investigative Committee, Evdokimova in September, 2016 helped one of her acquaintances to avoid criminal prosecution on the case of causing a little harm to health. As remuneration the chief received 30 thousand rubles. After that she was detained.
It was emphasized in the Investigative Committee, investigation of criminal case concerning Evdokimova was completed, the ex-chief completely admitted her guilt. Now, materials are directed to the Central District Court of Volgograd.
The investigation has no complaints to well-known lawyer and businessman Dmitry Yakubovsky, whose name was previously associated with the leaders of Solntsevskaya gang. He did not sign anything and quitted the Monolit board a year before the license was revoked.
