According to investigators, he has been receiving this money for 8 years for preventing the dismantling of the base stations of a cellular operator on the roof of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The Investigative Committee of Saratov filed a criminal case against the Head of one of the departments of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for Bribe-Taking on an especially large scale (part 6 of Art. 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), the press service of ICR for the region reports.

According to the investigation, from November 2011 to April 2018 the employee of the central office received more than 3.3 million rubles ($50.5 thousand) from the Saratov branch of one of the mobile operators. For this, the suspect did not allow the dismantling of the base stations of the operator on the buildings of the regional Emergencies Ministry. He was detained on April 22 while receiving another part of a bribe in the amount of 95 thousand rubles ($1.4 thousand).

At present, the issue of electing a preventive measure of restraint is being considered. All the circumstances of the incident are being established.

According to publication Fourth Power, this is about the Head of the department of information technology, automated control systems and communications of the Main Directorate of Emergency Situations for the Saratov region, Igor Musin. Earlier, he was already involved in a major scandal: Musin supervised the introduction of system 112 in the region, for which 193 million rubles ($2.9 m) were allocated, 116 ($1.7 m) of which were spent on a license for special software, which, as it turned out, was distributed free of charge.
