Head of penal colony received bribe from prisoner for early parole
In the Saratov region the investigation of a bribe-taking by a former employee of a penal colony completed. Money from the prisoner, according to Kommersant, he took for the promotion of the appeal, which was to affect the consideration of early parole issue.
The ICR Pugachevsky Interdistrict Department has completed the investigation into the receipt of bribe by the 31-year-old former employee of a penal colony.
According to the materials of the case, in October 2016, the Head of the penal colony unit received from the convicted the bribe in the amount of 11 thousand rubles for the awarding the prisoner. However, the illegal bonus was revealed by the Federal Service for Execution of Punishment employees and the Federal Security Service Department in the Saratov Region, in the city of Pugachev.
The ICR in the Saratov region reported that the accused admitted his guilt in full. The criminal case was sent to court.
First, 19-year-old Artur Gadzhiev tried to set fire to the Severny shopping center, then he began to attack the visitors with an ax and a knife, and later, after running outside, he stabbed random people in the street. Four out of the seven wounded are severely injured.
