FSB officers detained head of the Interregional Office of Rosprirodnadzor for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Tyva Republic Andrey Kalinin. On the morning of December 11, the official received a bribe from an entrepreneur under the control of the security forces, the regional news agency TKK reported.

“He was detained red-handed when receiving a bribe from an entrepreneur for assisting in obtaining a positive opinion. He got 300 thousand rubles,” TASS quotes its source in the law enforcement agencies of Krasnoyarsk.

Kalinin headed the Interregional Office of Rosprirodnadzor in 2018, and before the merger of departments led the management of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. He started his career in 2001 as the chief forest warden, then headed Krasnoyarsk forestry enterprises, in 2007-2009 he chaired the regional forestry agency. From 2010 to 2011, he served as the Deputy Head of the Forestry Department for the Siberian Federal District.
