Head of ICR Investigations Directorate in CAD organized meeting of Shakro Molodoy and Italian
Aleksey Kramarenko’s witness status in the case of bribe-taking from the thief in law Kalashov by Nikandrov, Maksimenko and Lamonov may soon change.
The former Head of the ICR Investigations Directorate in the Central Administrative District of Moscow Aleksey Kramarenko is suspected of organizing a meeting between the thief in law Zakhar Kalashov (Shakro Molodoy) and the criminal authority Andrey Kochuykov (Italian).
According to a source in law enforcement authorities, the meeting set up by Kramarenko between Italian and his boss took place in the building of the ICR Investigations Directorate in the Central Administrative District of Moscow at the end of May 2016.
This information was confirmed by another source, who added that Shakro Molodoy had spoken with Italian in the investigator’s office.
The former Head of the ICR Investigations Directorate in the Central Administrative District of Moscow Aleksey Kramarenko is a defendant in the case of bribe-taking by the ICR senior officials Mikhail Maksimenko, Aleksandr Lamonov and Denis Nikandrov from the kingpin Shakro Molodoy. His last name first appeared in the case file, when the FSB recorded a conversation between Lamonov and Maksimenko on 12 May. The conversation contained the following phrase: “(We need to give) 200 out of 500 thousand to Kramar.”
According to the case materials, in the middle of May, the General Nikandrov conspiring with Maksimenko and Lamonov gave to Investigator Bychkov an illegal order to reclassify the charges against Kochuykov from Extortion to Arbitrariness through his subordinate Kramarenko.
As noted by RIA Novosti’s source in the ICR, Kramarenko gave important evidence to investigation during interrogation in the case of bribe-taking by the ICR employees from kingpin Shakro Molodoy, including against one of his superiors in the general’s rank.
However, considering the organization of the meeting between the thief in law Kalashov and the crime boss Kochuykov in the walls of the Investigative Committee’s building, Kramarenko’s status within the case may soon change, the source believes.
In late July, in the wake of Maksimenko, Nikandrov and Lamonov's scandalous arrests, as many as three senior officials resigned from the ICR Investigations Directorate in the Central Administrative District of Moscow, including the Head of the ICR Investigations Directorate in CAD, Aleksey Kramarenko. The officers accepted the resignation after investigators had filed a criminal case under Art. 286 of the Russian Criminal Code against them.
Let us recall that the defendants in the case of bribe-taking from the thief in law Shakro Molodoy were arrested by court on July 19. The senior officers of the ICR are accused of assisting to Kalashov’s criminal community in releasing the latter’s henchman Andrey Kochuykov.
For several days now, the minds of the public in St. Petersburg are occupied with one piece of news – Lieutenant-General Umnov, head of the Main Directorate of the MIA for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, leaves his post and sets off for a promotion to Moscow. Sergey Umnov is allegedly designated for the position of deputy minister of the MIA Vladimir Kolokoltsev. However, on the sidelines of the ministry they expect not a promotion for the Petersburg general, but an honorable resignation with the consequent loss of political weight.
