Head of Dalnegorsk detained by OMON and FSB officers
According to sources, a senior official is suspected of abuse of official powers.
OMON and FSB operatives in the Primorsky Territory raided the Administration of Dalnegorsk district. According to regional media, law enforcers are interested in District Head Igor Sahuta.
Life reports that a criminal case on the fact of abuse of official powers is initiated against Sahuta. According to the edition, the official inflated prices on municipal housing purchase upon the resettlement program of emergency houses.
"According to preliminary information, the damage amounts more than 20 million rubles," - the source told Life.
RIA PrimaMedia’s sources claim that the case against the Mayor is aligned with his business interests.
Meanwhile, assistant of the official Alexey Ivanov denies the arrest of his chief. Ivanov says that Sahuta is at his workplace and even holds a conference.
