"By the staff of the MBIA of the Russian Interior Ministry and the Civil Service Department of the Russian Interior Ministry it will be carefully and objectively examine the circumstances, causes and conditions ithat led to the detention of the Acting Head of the T GUEBiPK of the Russian Interior Ministry. Recall that on the eve of the Acting Head of the Department T of the GUEBiPK of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Dmitry Zakharchenko was arrested till 8 November 2016. He is accused under three articles of the Russian Criminal Code, namely 285 (Abuse of Official Powers), 290 (Bribe-Taking), and 294 (Obstruction of Carrying out of Justice and of Preliminary Investigations). The Head of the GUEBiPK Andrey Kurnosenko began service in bodies of internal affairs, according to the information on the website of the Ministry of Interior, in 1995 as the security officer of the Regional Department for Organized Crime in the Moscow Police. Since October 2006, he served in the Directorate of the Russian Interior Ministry's own security. In late 2012, he was appointed as the Deputy Minister of the Internal Affairs of Bashkiria. In 2014-2015 he held the post of the Deputy, the first Deputy Head of the Russian Interior Ministry GUEBiPK.
As the Head of the Main Department of Economic Security and Anti-Corruption of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Kurnosenko was appointed by the Russian President Vladimir Putin on December 23, 2015.
