FSB detains Dagestani Interior Ministry Bureau of Internal Affairs Head
The detention of Magomed Khizriev occurred on the afternoon of June 5 in one of the buildings of the Interior Ministry Bureau of Internal Affairs in Moscow.
Head of the operative-search unit of the Interior Ministry Bureau of Internal Affairs of Dagestan Colonel Magomed Khizrev was detained for trying to give a $2 million-bribe through intermediaries for his appointment as the Head of the regional Interior Ministry.
Earlier, Vladimir Putin signed a decree to extend Acting Head of the Interior Ministry's administration Abdurashid Magomedov, 61, contract for another year.
According to the source of Kommersant, the Colonel was detained in one of the buildings of Interior Ministry Bureau of Internal Affairs in Moscow. The ICR charges the Colonel with $2m-bribe giving (part 5 of Article 291 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) through intermediaries to someone from the Bureau of Internal Affairs leadership.
As the newspaper notes, this structure coordinates all personnel issues of this level, it coordinates these appointments. Therefore, they had the authority to solve the Khizriev’s issue.

Earlier, information on the upcoming departure of General Abdurashid Magomedov, who reached the retirement age, appeared.
The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed the detention of the suspect, noting that the operation was conducted by the FSB and the Bureau of Internal Affairs of the police department.
Major of the Operative Unit No. 6 in the South-Eastern Administrative District of Moscow, Kirill Dvoretskov, is the nephew of General Boris Pishchulin, who used to head the police of the South-Eastern Administrative District of Moscow.
