FC Yenisei coach to be stripped of his driving license for drunk driving

Court will consider a statement against Dmitry Alenichev.

Krasnoyarsk court has accepted the claim related to driver's license revocation as to the FC Yenisei coach Dmitry Alenichev, reports TASS news agency.

The exact date of the hearing has not been announced yet, however it is known the claim is going to be considered in Kirovsky district court.

The CrimeRussia had earlier reported Alenichev had been detained by the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate officers on an eyewitness tip. According to preliminary data, he was intoxicated at the time.

The local media had reported he was drinking in the bar when he had an argument with a visitor. After that, he got into his Hyundai and left. Another participant in the altercation called the police and reported the intoxicated driver. Shortly after, Alenichev was stopped by police officers.

The FC Yenisei coach states he was at the restaurant with his family and was drinking non-alcoholic beer. He called the incident “the pure theater.” He believes the situation could be instigated for the purpose of making him dismiss from office.
