In addition, Sergey Shtelmakh asks the court to declare the results of an official inspection and the order for his dismissal illegal.

The former head of the Novosibirsk State Road Traffic Safety Inspectorate plans to achieve reinstatement and compensation of moral damages through court. The colonel asks the court to recover 44 thousand rubles ($647) for moral damage and forced absenteeism.

In addition, Shtelmakh asks the court to declare the results of an official inspection and the order to dismiss him illegal. He has already sent a corresponding statement of claim to the Central District Court of Novosibirsk. The first meeting will be held on November 16.

To recall, former Head of the State Road Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Novosibirsk region Sergey Shtelmakh was previously dismissed with the wording “in connection with the commission of the offense, which discredits the honor of an employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.” The high-ranking police officer had been exposed for issuing a fake certificate of a state road safety adviser to Deputy of the Legislative Assembly Nikolay Mochalin. The owners of the so-called “go-anywhere card” are exempt from inspection and check by police.
