Economic police department head and subordinate detained in Anapa
The Internal Affairs majors were accepting a bribe of more than a million rubles.
The Anapa head of the economic security and anti-corruption department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Fedor Duritsky, and the senior operative of the department N2 of the same department for the Krasnodar Region, Dmitry Dushenko, were detained while accepting a bribe in the amount of 1.08 million rubles from a local entrepreneur, Interfax reports with reference to a source in law enforcement.
According to investigators, “the police officers received the money from a certain Platonov for not prosecuting him under part 1 of Art. 238 of the Criminal Code (turnover of goods and products that do not meet safety requirements) and assistance in alcohol trade.
The majors were detained on the night of August 22 in an official UAZ Patriot car near 121 Lermontova Street. They are going to be charged.
The source added that Duritsky has been in the position since May 2019, and Dushenko since 2017.
