Deputy mayor of Maykop detained while receiving bribe
A local resident gave the official $ 1,400 in his office.
Operatives detained the deputy head of the Maykop City Administration, Mikhail Galushko, while receiving a bribe. The investigating bodies of Adygea initiated a relevant criminal case (part 3 of Article 290 CCRF), the law enforcement agency reports. The suspect was in charge of housing and utilities and city improvement.
On March 22, Galushko, 39, received 90,000 rubles ($ 1,400) “for committing illegal actions” from a local resident in his office, after which was immediately detained by law enforcement agencies. The suspect was placed in a temporary detention center.
According to Yuga.ru, Galushko supervised the management of housing and public utilities and amenities, the department of urban infrastructure, a number of MUPs: Maikop Heating Networks, Maykopvodokanal, Maykopsky Trolleybus Management, Specialized Parkings, Banny Komplex.
