The Deputy Head of the Internal Security Department of the Investigative Committee (the ICR) Alexander Lamonov filed a lawsuit on protection of honor and dignity to the TV channel Moscow 24 for the story, which told about the relationship between senior investigator and thief in law Shakro Molodoy.
The lawyer of the arrested demanded to recognize the information, contained in the channel material, false, and pay to her defendant a compensation for moral harm in the amount of 5 million rubles.
Earlier, the court admitted the arrest of Alexander Lamonova legitimate. The senior investigator is accused of taking bribes to favor the criminal leader Zakhar Kalashov.
The fan was banned from attending the national team matches abroad for five years after he performed an anti-Semitic song in a Volgograd bar. Two more Englishmen will be brought to trial for a similar violation.
