The Proletarsky Court in Rostov-on-Don has placed First Deputy Head of the North-Caucasian railway under arrest for 2 months. The high-ranking official is suspected of taking a bribe. His name is not reported.

According to the investigation, the official, together with the head of the operational department of the Kavkazsky district, received 1.5 million rubles ($23 thousand) from a company head. In return, he promised the latter to ensure unrestricted movement of trains with the company's products.
