Deputy Head of Moscow special police suspected in bribes with alcohol, meat and money from foreign embassies
Alexander Chernyi, nicknamed Taras Bulba, is suspected of abuse of official powers. Representatives of foreign diplomatic missions and consulates were gifted the Deputy Commander with expensive drinks, food and money.
The Deputy Commander of the special unit of Moscow Police Protection of diplomatic missions and consulates of foreign states is suspected of abuse of official powers, reported the press service of the MD of the Interior Ministry. With respect to the Deputy Commander the interior check according to an anonymous letter, in which stated that a senior police officer literally imposed a tribute to the staff of foreign embassies.
Life reported that it is about Alexander Chernyi, nicknamed Taras Bulba. Authors of the anonymous letter wrote that the Colonel Chernyi exposed personnel to the protection of various protocol events on a verbal agreement with representatives of some embassies. In return, he received compensation in the form of expensive alcohol, fruit, potatoes, meat and money. In particular, it is reported that in the New Year the Abkhazia Embassy in Moscow gifted to Taras Bulba seven boxes of wine and a few boxes of tangerines and porters were ordinary employees.
Information, contained in the letter, will be carefully analyzed and objectively considered, noted in the Central Bpard, adding that result of the examination will be concluded in accordance with the current legislation.
The retired security official and two of his subordinates are suspected of an attempt to receive 31.5 million rubles ($470,610) from a construction company for its participation in the corporation’s tender.
