Deputy head of Irkutsk Regional Court detained for bribe, 8 judges resigned

D.Sci.Jus., Professor of Law, Adviser to the Governor of the Irkutsk region Sergey Shishkin reported on the detention of deputy chairman of the Irkutsk Regional Court Nikolay Novokreshchenov and the resignation of eight more judges on the air of the radio Komsomolskaya Pravda in Irkutsk, emphasizing that the information is so far unofficial.
According to the Governor's adviser, Novokreschenov was detained for a bribe of 8 million rubles ($134.155).
