Defendants in case of Rosnano’s embezzlement in remain in custody until 16th April
The Moscow Basmanny Court extended the term of arrest in the pre-trial detention center to founder of NT-Pharma Rustam Ataullahanov and house arrest of director of the company Evgeny Sultanov.
Two defendants in case of Rosnano's embezzlement, founder of NT-Pharma Rustam Ataullakhanov and CEO Evgeny Sultanov, will remain in custody until 16th April, the press service of the Basmanny District Court of the capital reports.
Earlier it was reported that the court extended the arrest of third involved in the case - Mayor of Pereslavl Denis Koshurnikov.
According to investigators, Ataullakhanov and Sultanov partially appropriated funds of JSC Rosnano, which have been invested in the construction of a pharmaceutical factory NT-Pharma to produce nanovaccines in Pereslavl. Korshurnikov, whose criminal case was separated, actively promoted them. According to the prosecution materials, the sum is more than one billion rubles.
A St. Petersburg company Renessans-Restavratsiya JSC, involved in a criminal case under Art. 169 (Swindling) of the Russian Criminal Code, has been selected to receive the contract. The case was initiated in September 2017 in connection with the failure to perform 4-million-ruble ($70 thousand) works to restore a XVI-century fortress in the Leningrad region.
