Searches are being carried out in the administration’s building.
Head of Dagestan’s Derbentsky district Magomed Jelilov has been summoned for interrogation by law enforcers, reports AiF Dagestan with reference to a source within the Republic’s law enforcement.
Besides that, the source says searches have been carried out in a building of Derbentsky district’s administration since morning of April 10. The source notes that MIA’s representatives arrived unexpectedly; all employees were taken out of the building; documents are being seized.
According to preliminary data, the searches are being carried out within criminal cases into violations at work of Derbentsky district’s administration.
The media had repeatedly reported about Magomed Jelilov’s detention. It had been reported that criminal case against him under item 3 of article 286 of Russia’s Criminal Code (Exceeding Official Powers) had been initiated.
The investigation theory is that in 2015, Jelilov exceeded official powers and illegally signed an order to provide 2 locals with land properties. Damage from his action is estimated at 2.2 million rubles ($340 thousand).
By approving the pension reform, Russian lawmakers have admitted the frailty of life. For instance, 62-year-old Viktor Ozerov, Senator from the Khabarovsk Krai, has suddenly got tired and decided to retire. ‘Authoritative’ businessman Aleksander Shishkin is eager to succeed him. A former Senator and member of the Committee for Defense and Security, Shishkin is concerned about his personal safety and immunity.
