Criminal case initiated against form head of CSKA due attempt to escape custody
Earlier, the former boss was accused of receiving bribes of $ 370,000.
Former head of CSKA Mikhail Baryshev became a defendant in a new criminal case – over an attempt to escape from custody, TASS reports. The former manager was placed in a pre-trial detention center in the case of receiving bribes worth 23.5 million rubles ($ 370,000).
“He ran down the hallway, ran to the stairs and stopped,” said Baryshev’s lawyer, rejecting the defendant’s intention to escape.
The incident occurred on October 30 during a hearing to extend Baryshev’s custody terms. The ICR’s Main Military Investigation Directorate initiated a case under part 3 of Article 30 and Article 313 CCRF.
