Criminal case against former head of the Tyumen Traffic Police terminated

The former head of the Traffic Police Directorate for the Tyumen Region, Mikhail Kiselev, avoided punishment – his criminal case of exceeding official powers and abuse of office was terminated, URA.ru reports, referring to a file of Tyumen’s Leninsky District Court. According to unconfirmed data, the retired police officer was suspected of selling “beautiful” plate numbers.
Kiselev retired due to long service on June 26, 2018. In the winter of 2019, a search was conducted in the retired officer’s house, but the suspect was not arrested. Now the Tyumen State Traffic Safety Inspectorate is headed by police colonel Alexander Selyunin.
