Colonel Zakharchenko’s wife avoids arrest
The girlfriend of the former acting head of Administration T of General Administration for Economic Security and Combatting the Corruption accused of receiving multimillion bribes suspected of swindle for 16 million dollars.
Representatives of the Basmanny Court of Moscow declared that the petition of the investigation for the election of a measure of restraint for Anastasia Pestrikova - the common-law wife of the colonel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Dmitry Zakharchenko, has not arrived.
“Neither materials, nor Pestrikova came to court, and without her and the materials the court can not consider the case”, the Agency of city news Moscow quotes the press secretary of court, Junona Tsareva.
As the CrimeRussia wrote earlier, Anastasia Pestrikova was literally taken off a flight to Cyprus in Samara today. The investigation accuses her of an attempt of embezzlement of 16 million dollars from her acquaintance. Other details of the case were not disclosed.
Anastasia Pestrikova’s name has already been called at one of the court sessions in the case of Zakharchenko. In particular, the girlfriend of the law enforcement authority acted as a witness. According to her, she possesses 16 million dollars, which were arrested within the investigation on a certain Lilia Gorshkova's accounts earlier.
