Chelyabinsk region: Head of MUE Teplocom detained for bribery
The ID ICR in the Chelyabinsk region opened a criminal case against Head of the Municipal Unitary Enterprise Teplocom (MUE) Sergey Tumanin on the fact of a bribe-taking on a large scale.
As a result of joint operational activities of the FSB and the ICR the official was arrested. With regard to the commercial structure representative, who gave the bribe, the criminal case is also initiated.
According to investigators, in 2015, when a governmental official held the position of the Chief Engineer of the company, he illegally obtained the bribe of 200 thousand rubles from one of the local businessmen for connivance in the service and the overall protection.
Head of the ID ICR in Chebarkul Vitaly Alexandrov told that detainees were questioned as suspects. Soon, they will be charged.
During the investigation it was found that the Chelyabinsk businessman was engaged in the supply of coal to Teplocom without observing the quantity specified in the contract.
Now, the MUE Head is waiting for the court, which, as the ICR reported, may issue a sentence from 7 to 9 years of imprisonment.
