Bashkiria: policeman hides apartment, foreign cars and motorboat
The law enforcer has been fired due to loss of confidence.
Policeman from Bashkiria’s Salavat has been fired from law enforcement due to loss of confidence, after it was determined he had hidden his income, reports the media office of the Prosecution Service in the Republic.
They specified that the law enforcer had been a head of the special detention centre (for persons in administrative detention). He provided his 2010 - 2017 declaration of income and covered the fact that he had owned an apartment, high-end foreign cars and a motorboat he had subsequently sold. Besides that, he covered the data on his mortgage and a loan worth of more than a million rubles.
The policeman resigned willingly following the inspection by the Prosecution Service. However, the Prosecution Service achieved the change of the description through the court: it was changed to loss of confidence. The law enforcer tried to appeal the decision through the Supreme court, but to no avail.
Presumably, it concerns the US response to Ukraine’s help in the investigation against Joseph Biden, Trump’s main rival in the 2020 presidential election, who allegedly was in collusion with Kiev during the previous campaign.
