The weapon turned out to be the combat one.
Former acting Prime Minister of Dagestan Abdusamad Hamidov, who was arrested for budget funds theft, kept his gold gun illegally, RIA Novosti reports citing sources in law enforcement agencies. The TT pistol turned out to be the combat one.
The gun is gilded. The shaft of the combat TT is made of silver. During the search, there were confiscated Makarov and Beretta pistols, two Kalashnikov assault rifles, ammunition, a packet with an unknown substance and bongs.
The anti-corruption crusade is carried out in Dagestan; it is supervised by an interdepartmental commission of employees of the central apparatus of the Prosecutor General's Office, the FSB, the Investigative Committee and the Interior Ministry. Within the framework of this operation, on February 5, Abdusamad Hamidov, his former deputies Rajudin Yusufov and Shamil Isayev, as well as Shahabas Shakhov, the former Minister of Education and Science of Dagestan, were detained. The next day, the Moscow Basmanny Court arrested officials in the case of Swindling on an especially large scale (part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
Currently, Hamidov, Yusufov, Isayev and Shakhov are charged with three episodes of corruption related to the purchase of a kindergarten building, a special institution for keeping migrants, as well as construction of a camp that actually belonged to Isayev. Sources say that the investigation has grounds for initiation five more criminal cases against officials.
Alexander Kravtsov, Oleg Varlamov (Varkamov) and Mikhail Marasigyan (Marsikyan) have been charged with drugs and psychotropic substances trafficking. A citizen of Ukraine, Yuri Tribusyan (Tribasyan) was also detained.
