Police came with searches to the Khabarovsk’s Rosneft office.

Together with the former governor of the Khabarovsk Region Viktor Ishaev, his trustee - deputy chairman of the regional government Vladimir Khlapov, and head of the Rosneft regional office Gennady Kondratov, were also detained, RBC reports.

It also became known that the police came with searches to the Rosneft representative office in the Far Eastern Federal District in Khabarovsk. RIA Novosti reports about this with reference to a source close to the investigation.

As it is stated on the Rosneft website, the Khabarovsk office of the company is in the process of liquidation.

According to 112 Telegram channel, the son of the ex-governor Dmitry Ishayev was also detained. Dvnovosti.ru portal reports about the searches at his Khabarovsk office and notes that he is under recognizance not to leave. According to the website, Viktor Ishayev was placed under house arrest.

Earlier, it was reported about the searches at the government of the Khabarovsk Region. According to sources close to the investigation, police performed searches at  the office of deputy chairman of the regional government for security, Vladimir Khlapov, and a number of commercial organizations in Khabarovsk.

Former Governor of the Khabarovsk Region and Plenipotentiary for the Far Eastern Federal District Viktor Ishayev is suspected of fraud on a large scale (part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) during extraction of forest, reports Kommersant. He was detained by officers of the Moscow’s Investigative Committee; the FSB conducted searches at the ex-Governor and his relatives’ homes.

Last week, the searches were conducted at the building of the government of the Khabarovsk Region, which resulted into a criminal case on theft of more than 1 billion rubles in the forest industry. The head of the logging organization, Alexander Pudovkin, and the former Deputy Prime Minister of the region, Vasily Shikhalev, were arrested in this case.
