"Today we have filed an appeal against the decision of the Basmanny court on the Alexey Valentinovich's house arrest," – the attorney Timothy Gridnev said to Interfax. The lawyer insists on the election of a more lenient preventive measure.

As previously the CrimeRussia reported, on November 15, the Basmanny District Court authorized a two-month house arrest of Alexey Ulyukaev. On this measure of restraint the investigator asked taking into the health state of official (he has atherosclerosis and hypertension). The Minister’s lawyer stated that an official of this level can not in principle be placed in jail, because his work has access to state secrets.

Note that the house arrest for Ulyukaev is a staying with his family in an apartment in the elite residential housing Zolotye Kluchi 2 on the Minskaya street in Moscow. Apartments are acquired by foreigners, senior managers and businessmen. By the way, one of the buyers is the acting Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. At the moment, the cost of apartments in the complex varies from 20 million to more than 400 million rubles.
