$1.2m, €1m of General Lopyrev’s son attached
The Head of Federal Guard Service in the North Caucasian Federal District is accused of bribe taking.
The Basmanny Court of the capital on Wednesday, April 19, arrested large sums of money of the Head of the Federal Guard Service in the North Caucasian Federal District son, General of the Federal Security Guard Service Aleksander Lopyrev - 63 million rubles ($1.2m), one million euros and 350 thousand dollars.
To recall, Gennady Lopyrev is accused of receiving about 627 million rubles ($11m) from heads of various commercial structures at the conclusion of state contracts. In court Lopyrev declared revenue in 50 million rubles ($890.000).
Certain details have become known about the crime of which Denis Nabiullin is suspected. The “unidentified prisoner”, against whom the Public Monitoring Commission member Denis Nabiullin detained in Moscow had committed swindling, turned out to be infamous fixer and fraudster Dionisiy Zolotov (Tumarkin).
According to the criminal case, in August 2017, the investigator received a bribe from a man accused of committing a crime to prevent the latter from going to a pre-trial detention center as well as to provide for assistance in reconciliation with the victim.
