Renato Usatii declared internationally wanted
The District Court of Chisinau decided to issue a warrant for a 30-day arrest of the Moldova opposition Our Party leader Renato Usatii on charges of swindling and attempted assassination, the judge Dorin Munteanu said at the hearing.
The Chisinau District Court arrested the leader of the opposition Moldovan Our Party Renato Usatii. The politician is accused of swindling and the attempt on the life of Russian banker German Gorbuntsov.
Granted the request of the Prosecutor's Office, the court decided to issue an arrest warrant on Usatii for a period of 30 days, appointing the pre-trial detention center №13 as a place for custody.
It is worth noting that Renato Usatii (also known as Hatiko) is absent on the territory of Moldova, therefore, according to the Prosecutor Vitaly Busuioc, he will be declared in the international search.
Currently, the opposition Moldovan politician is in Moscow, he is living on Rublevo-Uspensky highway.
According to the CrimeRussia, Renato Usatii relates to Solntsevskaya criminal group. In 2010 he handled a raider attack on Gorbuntsov’s Universalbank. Some time after this, he organized an attack on the Russian banker’s life in London.
