Native of Chechnya arrested for attempt on deputy Adkhamov
According to the investigation, the deputy’s wife could hire the assassin through a friend of hers.
In St. Petersburg, the court has placed 37-year-old native of Chechnya, Khuseyn Daraev, in custody for making an attempt on the life of deputy Bakhtiyar Adkhamov.
According to the investigation, Daraev attacked Adkhamov at the entrance to the clinic, where the latter works as a urologist. Despite serious injuries, Adkhamov survived. The incident took place on March 31, 2016.
The police believe the deputy's wife may have something to do with the attempt. It is also likely that it was one of the woman’s friends who ordered the hit. In particular, a native of Grozny, Valid Isaev, has been put on the wanted list. Allegedly, it was from him that Khuseyn Daraev should have received 5 million rubles ($79,050) for executing the order. He received an advance payment of 200 thousand rubles ($3,162).
Presumably, it concerns the US response to Ukraine’s help in the investigation against Joseph Biden, Trump’s main rival in the 2020 presidential election, who allegedly was in collusion with Kiev during the previous campaign.
