Murder of Orsk city electricity grid deputy head captured on video
Dmitry Shevelev was killed at an entrance of a high-rise apartment house.
On Monday morning, in Orsk, the Deputy Director of City Power Grids for Service Implementation, Dmitry Shevelev, was shot dead, local media report. The murder occurred at an entrance of a residential building in Kovalenko Street.
The senior executive was about to leave the house, at this moment an unknown man came in and fired several shots at him. Shevelev tried to run away from his killer - this can be seen on a video published on the Internet.
A criminal case has been opened on the murder.
Dmitry Shevelev held the position of Deputy Director for Service Implementation of the Orsk production unit of the branch of MRSK Volgi (part of the Rosseti group) - Orenburgenergo. Among other things, employees of this department were engaged in establishing theft of electricity. One of the versions of the murder is related to the professional activities of the deceased.
