CCTV capture Mytishchi businessman murder
Judging by the footage, a few passersby witnessed the murder but could not do anything because it happened so out of the blue; the killers escaped.
Businessman Gevorg Tumanyan was shot dead in Moscow region. The murder occurred in Mytishchi near an apartment building. Several cameras on the building caught the incident.
As can be seen in the footage, two men, not trying to hide their faces, are waiting for the victim outside by the door. When Tumanyan appeared near the next door with a companion, the killers run out and one of them shoots at the businessman. The companion panics and runs back and forth, but is unable to protect Tumanyan or detain the attackers. Judging by the footage, a few passersby witnessed the murder but could not do anything because it happened so out of blue; the killers escaped.
Gevorg Tumanyan died of the wounds on the spot. He is known to have been engaged in retail trade. The murder occurred on Borisovka Street, Mytishchi, the evening of March 14. A criminal case was opened under articles pertaining to murder and illegal weapon trafficking.
It concerns entrepreneur Dmitry Motorin, Boris Usherovich, a co-owner of the Group of Companies 1520, and Novoe Vremya board member, Ivan Stankevich. Motorin is accused of giving a bribe on an especially large scale, and Stankevich and Usherovich are charged with bribe-taking.
This week, the judicial debates in the trial of Vladimir Barsukov-Kumarin charged with creation of Tambovskie organized criminal group have been finished in the Kuibyshevsky District Court of St. Petersburg. If the court upholds the stance of the state prosecution, the once-influential criminal ‘authority’ may be convicted to almost 25 years behind bars. In reality, this translates into a life term for the legend of criminal St. Petersburg.
